Green Leafe New Town Launches Exclusive Event Lounge
(Williamsburg, VA) – There is a lofty new endeavor underway at the Green Leafe’s New Town location. “The Loft,” a new private banquet and event facility, will be celebrating its grand opening on Thursday, April 22, 2010 scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at 4345 New Town Avenue, Williamsburg. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Featuring two balconies overlooking the scenic New Town development, The Loft offers secluded access from the street, private restroom facilities and is handicapped-accessible by elevator. With a current capacity of 160 (soon to be 200) this private space is an ideal fit for rehearsal dinners, business meetings, family celebrations, and can be adapted to accommodate live entertainment and dancing to suit any formal or wedding needs.
“We’re excited about turning over a brand new ‘Leafe’” said owner, Glenn Gormley. "We intend to incorporate our incomparable beer selection and our budget-friendly food menu with a dynamic space that’s unique to Williamsburg.” Gormley has owned and operated the Green Leafe since 1986 when he bought the Scotland Street location. The Green Leafe New Town opened its doors in 2007.
